Love Guardian's costume. So classic and timeless, but I've always thought it must be a bitch to render from various angles.

BTW, to this day I still haven't gotten over his death back in Alpha Flight #12. Why Byrne why???

Is he back among the living these days? I can't keep track anymore. It doesn't matter anyway, because only JB can do Alpha Flight as far as I'm concerned.

That cover is reasonably well done, until we get to Guardian's torn knee. Is he just not wearing the battlesuit any more?

Heck, Guardian's been killed and resurrected so many times by this point I don't even know. I believe at one point they had aliens integrate his battlesuit into his body.(per your robot's cover story).

"Men shouldn't wear hip boots."

20 years ago, an old girlfriend said that to me when we
were talking about comics and costumes. I never thought
about it before, but once she said it, it made perfect
sense, and I haven't been able to forget it since.

Guardian, however, is one of my all time favorites. Glad
to hear that JB like sit, the twins too. As for the Shaman
and Snowbird, I like that all those Flight costumes have
that certain similarity that helps unify them as a team
visually (Just another reason JB's AF is one of my all-time
faves.

BTW - No matter who else brings Guardian back, and no
matter how much I wish JB didn't kill him, as far as I am
concerned, he's dead. #epicstory

The best ever was the traditional Superman.

Second best was the traditional Batman.

Best Post-Golden Age creation: Spider-Man

Best revision: Brown Wolverine

LOSERS OF ALL TIME: Nu52 DC, you know, the ones trying to look cool like Youngblood. (Barf!!!!!)

Before we go a step further in this thread, can we please have a moratorium on the use of the word "best"? The term you want is "favorite".
