Hey! That's very nice.
I love Marrina and her origin story. And I hate what happen to her. The guys at Marvel transformed her into a sea monster, and now she's dead, killed by Namor, her own ex-husband.
I really hate what they did with the character.
I thought she was such a unique character with an exotic beauty.

Didn't they bring her back to life in the last series by Pak,Van Lente and Eaglesham? I thought she made it through that series intact. Nice link. Very cool.

Yeah! You right, Rob! They did bring her back, the right way, thank goodness. But now I don't know how things are, with the MARVEL NOW deal and all. I haven't followed it lately. I hope she's okay!
John drew her beautifully:
Oh, God! I miss this a lot.

Well, they did bring her back, but...
What do you think of the new look actually?

Yep but he's back again. He's on the Uncanny X-Force team.

I actually enjoyed Eaglesham's (and the other creators) work on that recent Alpha Flight mini-series and regretted that it tied into the event that it did. I would have continued to buy that run as a monthly, had Marvel chosen to continue it!
I felt that - despite a few cosmetic choices on Marrina - that at least they primarily "built" off of her previous appearance!

I won't buy it. I think its BS that they brought Gaurdian back. Don't get me wrong, he was my favorite AF. His death was a very powerful story line and seemed necessary. I stopped reading after JB left so I will just pretend he was never resurrected. The only powerful story line in which resurrection seemed to fit was Electra in DD #190 in my opinion. I know...nobody dies. =/
