Thanks for picking up the baton, Francesco!

Small week for me...

INVINCIBLE #100- And we get the death that's been hyped...my money's on Mark but that would severely curb my interest in this title going forward. I still think we're going to get swerved somehow because plenty of people in this title have died and I always thought that Kirkman likes the shock angle. Not so much for shock value but just the "I didn't see that coming!" factor.

AVENGERS #4- I believe we have Kubert art for this issue so I'm looking forward to it.

DARK AVENGERS #186- Rumors abound that this title is not long for this world so I figure that anything can happen.

SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN #2- I've said it a few times but I'm okay with the current status for a few issues, anything beyond six issues will make me lose interest.

I have some store credit and some 70's Inhumans in my box so I'm (hopefully) going to get a bunch of back issues!

Here's what awaits me at the LCS today:

  • AQUAMAN #16 - Continues the crossover with JLA
  • JOE KUBERT PRESENTS #4 - Angel and the Ape is the draw for me, but who can knock Kubert's art as well?  I'll read all the other serialized chapters in an extended sitting when I have more free time (something I am extremely short of these days).
  • TEEN TITANS #16 (DOTF)  - I may drop this title after the storyline wraps up.
  • AVENGERS #4 - behind on this title.
  • DARK AVENGERS #186  - behind on this title.
  • HAWKEYE #7 - One of my favorite titles.  And to think I wasn't going to follow the title in the first place.
  • SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN #2  - I'm enjoying this story, much more than I thought I would.  Looking forward to the "interaction" between the Doc and MJ.
  • And hopefully my copy of The High Ways #1 shows up.

Aquaman #16 -- I'm likely going to drop the last of the monthlies I pick up
and go "totally tpb/hardcover" when "The Throne of Atlantis" is done.

Alpha Flight Classic Vol. 3 -- I bought this today and ordered Vol. 2 from my
LCS. Now, I just to find Vol. 1 or hope it comes back into print.

Dave, I really enjoy THE SIXTH GUN. I'm "waiting for the trade," and
that's tough!
