Michael - That's really quite nice, hope to see more
Chris - Wonderful aerial dogfight painting!
Marc - One of my favorites from you, it's quite sharp. BTW, if you are
looking for more in-depth critiques, you may want to check out http://
www.penciljack.com forums. They have number of categories to which
you can post, and people who are usually pretty good in giving feedback
Darren - Terrific design to the piece.
Anthony - Nice colors, who's the artist?

Awesome coloring on the Hulk. Great Hulk Drawing too, I can see why you wanted to color it.

Anyone seen James around? Maybe some of you neighbors in England can jump over and see if everything is well with him?
(I kid about the trip of course!)

Yeah it was impossible to resist. I think i tend to do a nice rendition of the Hulk but i saw that and I felt two ways about my Hulk. It isn't as hot as i thought....But i wasn't discourage It makes me want to put extra effort into it and do something kick ass. Vlad, Dale Keown is the master mind behind that piece.
Thanks for the compliments guys on the coloring.
Marc , Don't be discouraged . Your art is far better then i think you realise. You're getting better each time you post. You are picking up quickly on alot of things I may notice something in one piece you do as not being the best possible solution but then i see a new post and i see that you've imporved on the solution. Instead of feelin negative why not challenge yourself. If you see something that YOU think is a bit better then yours instead of feelin down let it inspire you to kick up your game to the next level. Believe me thats what i do when i see some of the work on here. On some days I may see something one of the guys have done and think it's better then mine but the next day i might post something that one of them may think is better. But beyond all that if you take out the competiveness i'm saying as inspiration when it comes down to it no one is better then the next we are different. Just be the best you can be and it's all good. Now to reiterate what My Scots friend has said Back to the drawing board and lets see the next work of art. :)

Well it turns out I am a better painter than a penciler or inker.
First here is a drawing I did this weekend as it appears in my
sketchbook. I used a brush pen.

I decided to do a painting of the same thing. I like how disgusting the colors turned out.

Cool stuff Michael. I guess I've asked you before, but do you use Painter?
Chris - I remembered when I read what you wrote. Thanks for the
reminder. James is such a slacker - using work as an excuse to
not be posting!!!

Yes I use painter. I used to use watercolors and I got tired of too many ruined paintings.
Here is something from my Watercolor Sketch Pad. Yes they make watercolor sketch pads.

Michael, I just finished watching Evolution, and it had all kinds of nifty looking bugs in it. Reminds me of what you've done.

I didn't finish this drawing because I got fed up with how lifeless it looks :(
