Terrific stuff Dave, I especially dig the pic of your wife, it has a strong
Crumb vibe in the rendering.

Wow... thanks, guys! Coming from you all, it meeans a lot. It's been a
while since I've looked at this stuff - really couldn't judge at all it's value.
Art school did a really good job of convincing me I didn't know which end
was up. Whatever jumped out at me is what made the scan.

I especially appreciate the Crumb comment... astoundingly high praise,
from where I sit. Now that I'm finally gearing up to assault comics again -
first time in about 10 years(!), I'm really looking forward to inking that
piece that Stephen sent me - get my inking muscles working again.

I still think my favorite is the "Donut" doodle... it's one thing to sit and
labor over a drawing for hours and not get it right (like some of the more
fully rendered sketchs I've posted here), but to capture what you're
aiming for in about 30 seconds is what I strive for. Less work!

I agree with Vlad the picture of your wife does have a crumb feel to it good show I really love the last picture you did great perspective . Marc I'm not really digging your Dark Phonenix i usually dig your work but something about the face put me off maybe it was  it looked rough too manysqaured edges.

Wow! Extremely photo realistic, Michael. The hair is really neat. So difficult to portray blonde hair accurately. You make it look easy.

I was wondering if there has been any discussion, here at the JBF, on using 3-D modeling software as a tool for composing images and making figure anatomy more accurate?
