Was messing around with this a few weeks ago, but couldn't get Agnetha's face quite right, so upped pencil-sticks on it.

Peter, I realise this one didn't turn out as you wanted but
it's pretty damn sweet. The facial expressions are
fantastic and Bjorn is spot on. Your style reminds me very
much of Brent Anderson.

Thank you for the kind words, Darren. Might get the rubber (eraser for our N American audience) out and have another crack at Agnetha. Or do it on another piece of paper and meld in Photoshop.
It's something of a curiosity that likenesses come out better for me when the reference material is B+W. I suppose it shouldn't be too much of a surprise, but colour photos make it somehow harder to translate over to the page in pencil.

As you can probably tell, this was drawn PDQ, but there's something liberating about drawing like that sometimes. The final thing is some way from satisfactory, but kinda like the deadline thing I had going on.

Such a cool scene you've drawn there, Cory. Love the city details and the perspective.
Reminds me of one of the first Marvel imports I bought:
Captures the same dazzling sense of immediate peril. Which is great!

Thank you. That was going to be the cover of a 8 page ashcan, I didn't quite finish it because a penciling job came up and then the comic industry went fer crap and I pretty much put down my pencil since.Here's the top part of a double-pager.
