Thanks, John. I found out that gouache isn't the best medium for a splatter effect. (Though I do prefer it over watercolour.) Stick with an acrylic paint for any spray/splatter look and you'll be a happy camper, otherwise you'll be painting over the each individual dot. Ugh.

I remember an artist i knew many years ago  Ron Embleton he was a master of gouache Christian maybe you know of his work.

Can't say that his name rings a bell, but I'll give him a Google. Trying to remember if this one Irish artist, who's work they only show during winter when the sun's rays are at their weakest. (Then they only show them in a darkened room and corridor.) Watercolor was his main medium, though there might have been some gouache pieces in there as well. I'll have to consult my travel journal on that one.

Hi christian, Embleton used to draw eric the viking years ago andGerry Andersons Stingray Comic strip in TV 21 i used to work at TV21 many years ago when Frank Bellamy drawed Thunderbirds.
