When you think of these comic artists do you think of them as Marvel or DC (you have to pick one or the other, no ties). Also provide the title or reason that stands out to you (try to keep any "reasons" short a couple of words).

In no particular order:

Jack Kirby - Marvel (Fantastic Four)
Dave Cockrum - DC (Legion of Super Heroes)
George Perez - DC (New Teen Titans)
Gil Kane - DC (Green Lantern)
Neal Adams - DC (Various Covers)
John Byrne - Marvel (Uncanny X-Men)
Alan Davis - Marvel (Excalibur)
Ross Andru - Marvel (Amazing Spider-Man)
Jim Mooney - DC (Supergirl stories in Action Comics)

Jack Kirby - Marvel (Fantastic Four)
Dave Cockrum - Marvel (Uncanny X-Men - first series I followed of his)
George Perez - Marvel (Avengers - introduction to his work)
Gil Kane - DC (Green Lantern)
Neal Adams - Marvel (X-Men - introduction to his work)
John Byrne - Marvel (Fantastic Four - my favorite JB series)
Alan Davis - Marvel (Excalibur - more or less by default)
Ross Andru - Marvel (Amazing Spider-Man - introduction to his work)
Jim Mooney - DC (Supergirl stories in Action Comics - classic stuff)

A few more who did super-hero work for both companies -

Bob Brown - Marvel (Daredevil - found his DC work later on)
Gene Colan - Marvel (Tomb of Dracula - a perfect fit)
Steve Ditko - Marvel (Amazing Spider-Man - 'Nuff Said!)
Don Heck - Marvel (Iron Man - seemed to fit him best)
Carmine Infantino - DC (The Flash - classic  stuff)
Frank Robbins - Marvel (Invaders - introduction to his work)
Walt Simonson - Marvel (Thor - brilliant stuff)
George Tuska - Marvel (Iron Man - my 1st Iron Man artist)
Wally Wood - Marvel (Daredevil - introduction to his work)

I don't recall John Romita doing any regular super-hero work for DC.  To me he's "the Spider-Man Guy"

Jack Kirby - Marvel (FF, Avengers, one of the founding fathers of the company)
Dave Cockrum - Marvel (Uncanny X-Men makes up about 95% of everything I've read with Dave's art)
George Perez - DC (Wonder Woman stands out for me)
Gil Kane - DC (Green Lantern)
Neal Adams - DC (The Batman artist)
John Byrne - Marvel (his Superman work looms large, but FF looms larger, plus JB does the definitive versions of all the Avengers IMHO)
Alan Davis - Marvel (Davis is Mr Captain Britain)
Ross Andru - Marvel (Amazing Spider-Man)

No opinion on Jim Mooney
