Jan and Hank Pym scene:

Okay, I get Hank is, I guess, using Jan's clitoris as a boxing heavy bag. I mean, I guess that's what that means.

But what in god's name does "Your turn?" mean. Does Jan have to go up Hank's arse to headbutt his colon?

"FANTASTIC FOUR #254..."

****

Y'know, re-reading those pages and the pages immediately following (now, with adult eyes), I can't believe how suggestive it seems (to, me, anyway).  But I can assure you it all went completely over my head upon my first reading 29 years ago.

Yes, I'm a genius. It would be wrong to deny it!

Re: FF #254
I knew what was going on there. It was proof, as my friends and I used to say, that Sue is the luckiest woman in the Marvel Universe. Heh, heh.

Of course, that's the kind of talk best left to fans, and doesn't need to be directly addressed on page.

That infamous Hank and Jan page: I cannot imagine anything less erotic than a cockroach sized person crawling over my body. No matter how hot she was (full sized), I doubt I could resist the urge to swat them!

This is truly crazy.   I've never seen the sex scene with the Wasp and Ant-Man before but it is strange and gross.  What is wrong with Marvel?

Just had a conversation with my parents over the phone and they both separately brought this story up to me.  That proves DC is definitely getting the publicity they want out of this.  The problem is, it just seems completely silly to average people like my parents.  It's like a news story telling them Charlie Brown is being diagnosed with juvenile diabetes or Popeye got the clap on shore leave.

Also, my dad said he "...heard a Marvel character was gay..." and wondered if it could be Superman.

I miss good comics.

Nice when comics can be truely all ages and a writer is capable and clever enough to satisfy both audiences without alienating one, ain't it?

 QUOTE:
It's my understanding Johns has disowned that scene, claiming it was actually the work of then-head honcho at Marvel, Bill Jemas.

Wow, I didn't know that. Makes me feel better  about his AVENGERS, which I kind of liked outside of that issue.  Austin, and then Bendis, is what drove me off the comic,

I just read in "Entertain Me Weakly" that Marvel has announced....one of their characters will be revealed to be heterosexual!

I hope it's the Scarlet Witch! She's so dreamy.
