I really enjoy the frighteningly empty look you give the Sentinels. And a nice reminder of how Wolverine SHOULD be aging over time.

First thing I noticed is that Logan is wearing what looks like jodhpurs. Then it struck me that Logan is Logan no matter what he's wearing: other superheroes are not really themselves out of their rigs. If I understand correctly what part of the commission was completed in 12 minutes, then that puts me even further in awe of JB's skills.

Title fooled me. I was preparing for a scene involving Dr. Octopus . . .

I like the way JB draws Wolverine (and other heroes) in civilian attire.

Sweet, and the reason I originally came to the JBF, bone claws BLOW. You might as well make "your" Wolverine a character in your new comic JB since so little of him remains in the present character.

I always liked Terry Austin's cover to the second issue of "Days of Future Past", and this looks like JB's take on that cover. Excellent!
"Days of Future Past" is the most powerful two issue punch I read as a kid. I feel so lucky I finally caught on to X-Men at the tail end of "Dark Phoenix" -- it blows my mind that DOFP was just a few issues later.

If we look at what Chris and I concocted in my last year on UNCANNY, and contrast it with what a years worth of a "modern" comic has to offer....

A lot of awesomeness came out of those 12 minutes (no doubt the preceding 40 yrs contributed, too.)

You guys covered a lot of ground! Today, each of those issues would equal four and be a trade paperback!
I was really hanging on every issue when these came out. As iconic as "Dark Phoenix" and "Days of Future Past" have become, I would rate "Demon" just as high up on my list of favorites.
And #139-140 ("Something Wicked This Ways Comes" and "Rage") has Wolverine, Nightcrawler and Alpha Flight in Canada. Another perfectly done two issue arc. What an amazing run.
