For the Artist , Graphic designers and cartoonists that visit this forum, please take a look at some incredible Dynamic anatomy drawings by Gil Kane. This was a man that could draw the human figure with an almost michelangeloesqu feeling to his line. What a joy to see. You can learn much from these sketches. How great the comic industry would be if every artist studied his work. With limited reference he was able to move and distort the figure with such grace. Gil Kane wasTruly the master of Dynamic Anatomy

Michael, I agree with you on Kane's dynamism. Who wouldn't do it, anyway?
At least, talking of the post-GL Kane.
I recently picked up his two Superman Specials from the early '80s and I was amazed by how those almost 30 years old books were so appealing, modern, exciting. Superman seems to come out from the pages! I compared it with the artwork from current Superman comics and the comparison was, well... embarassing. The early '80s Kane is my favorite.
Thanks for sharing these sketch!

Romita, Sr. redraw a lot in those faces... er, masks.
The Kane/Romita combo is my favorite for Spider-Man.
Kane's dynamism plus Romita's elegancy = one of the best rendition of the character ever.
