JB, were you the first to draw the Negative Man as a skeleton?  He was definitely my favorite character of the team.

It was really nice to see The Doom Patrol again. Glad to see JB handling the reigns this time. One of my favorite new characters was the Civil War Ghost.

Wow, this reminds me I need to buy about 46 pages of art from this series.

I really enjoyed Doug Hazlewood's inking on this series.

Wilson: I enjoyed the series quite a bit, especially towards the end of the run, but I wasn't a big fan of Grunt or Nudge.  Personally, I think the series would have been better if more time was spent on the main characters.

---

I know what you're sayin' there, Wilson. I thought Grunt and Nudge were interesting (I feel they could have had their own series), but I prefered time spent with the original team.

This was a fun series -- it ended much too soon!

I REALLY liked the black and white uniforms -- a very sharp look.

When Paul Levitz announced his departure from the Top Job at DC, I was tempted to call him up, wish him well, and say "As a last-thing-out-the-door, how about you sign the rights to Nudge and Grunt back over to me?"

Ah. Those were hopeful times! I thought efforts like DP and BOTD could still
turn the tide for super-hero books...

Just to clarify: wasn't Vortex a JB creation, too?

I liked the civil war ghost too but I'm ashamed that I can't remember his name!  Can someone help me so I don't have to dig out my issues?  Caleb?  Zachariah?
