JB, the different angles of the helmet and your grasp of how Galactus SHOULD look is outstanding!!

This Epiphany comes to me after an hour or so of staring at this commission!

I think I'm about 85% there with Galactus. I have yet to truly capture the way Kirby drew him, especially the size and shape of the helmet.

Incidentally, courtesy of this piece, Galactus now joins that select group of characters who are represented in every one of the sub-folders Dan has created in the Commissions Gallery.

Niiiiiiiiiiice....  You're a lucky guy, William!

Just one question:  Is that a group of Galactuses or a group of Galacti?

Galactus is unique! There is no plural form!

Or, if you prefer, he's like moose. (No, the plural of moose is not mice!)

JB, is there any part of the outfit you would change?  I just don't get the boots.

There's a lot of hunger in that commission.

John, I love how the main Galactus figure up front stands out from the rest of the design due to the thicker (heavier?) ink line outlining his form.  A great effect that makes the background look softe.  It reminds me of the ads Marvel used to do in the comics (70's-80's) when promoting a new comic book and they would show a solid image of a character in the foreground with softer images (from prior publications) of the character in the background!
