Looks like something Jim Lee would come up with.

Well, this is the JMS who will finally reveal to all of us just why someone like Clark Kent chooses to use his powers to help people. Jesus, after seventy years, it's about time someone stepped down from the heavens and enlightened all us peons.

(I always thought it had something to do with how the Kents raised him, but....)

JMS: "What woman only wears one outfit for 60 plus years?"

I guess these are the issues that keep you awake at night when you're a brilliant writer.

I was going to stick around for Guggenheim's work on Superman but since that is not happening, looks like I now have enough reason to drop the Superman comics I was getting. I haven't read the Wonder Woman comic in years and this will definitely not endear me to pick it up anytime soon.

Mark Waid on JMS' Wonder Woman interview: "Dear big-name comics egomaniac: just ONCE can you talk about your genius in an interview without crapping on the work of your predecessors?"

JMS: "What woman only wears one outfit for 60 plus years?"

That one remark makes me want to never read another thing he writes. That has to be the stupidest thing I've ever seen in an interview with a comics writer. It sounds like the morons who wrote to XMHY to complain about Iceman's hat being worn backwards (like they didn't do in the 60s!).

Superman and Batman have worn the same costume for 70 years. Sheesh.

Her outfit is revealing, but she's an Amazon. It's not supposed to have a sexual undercurrent that needs "fixing" unless you are bringing that to the character. It's similar to attempts to give less revealing outfits to Namor and Tarzan... it just doesn't work.

I've looked into my crystal ball and have seen that once JMS's run peters out and Wonder Woman comics a) don't sell any more than before and b) that the movie is still a no-go because stupid Hollywood suits don't think that a girl superhero will work because look at Catwoman, there will be a big hoo-haw about classic Wonder Woman returning!

That Wonder Woman outfit Jim Lee designed is horrible and even bland. And it looks outdated out of the box, to boot. The classic design is pratically timeless.

DC is going out of their way to alienate everyone.  I don't get it.
