Because you take so godawful long between sessions!  Can't expect a brother to wait!

With the notable exception of the SNIPER ELITE games (why those are different, I don't know), Bob and I will start a game and after a couple of sessions, we'll stop playing co-op.  Wanting to move on, I'll finish the game and then we'll pick up again at some future point, but it's not the same when one has finished (namely me ) and the other has not.  I kinda think you need to have two gamers who play the same way (ie. marathon through a game {me} or casually play through {Bob}) . It's difficult when you mesh those two styles together.

At the end of the day, we (Bob & I) need more campaign based games that we can finish in a session ala SNIPER ELITE and less open world campaigns where it's catch as catch can.  Make sense?

OK. With this release of WOLFENSTEIN I'm willing to wait.  We'll go on your schedule for the way we play.  Neither you nor I even boot it up until the other is online.  But you have to at least be willing to play more than a couple times a month.  It's gonna kill me if I see you playing some other shit at the same time I am and we're not playing WOLFENSTEIN.

Deal?

I've never played the SNIPER ELITE games, but I've had the zombie ones on my Steam wishlist for a while.

Zombie SNIPER ELITE is just...OK.  My main problem with it is where you save.  There are "save points" in the game and it's rather long between them.  If you die before getting to one, be prepared to go all the way back.  Bob and I tried it for a couple of sessions. Didn't hold our interest.

The actual SNIPER ELITE games?  Phenomenal.  Can't recommend them enough.  They're not open world at all, but the maps are fairly large and the AI is intuitive. It's a challenge to get through with two people without setting off the entire map let alone with a single person.  If stealth is your thing (which it is for me) then this is your game.  If you're a hack-and-slash player who charges into every situation, I wouldn't even try it.  That's not how this game is meant to be played.

Ugh. Removing those from my wishlist, then. "Save Points" in most games make things tedious.

And Steam's summer sale just started. Sadly, I can't afford to buy a damn thing. Too many financial issues going on. If not, I'd pick up more Crusader Kings II add-ons, or the Shadowrun games I don't own yet.

For those who play Spider-Man PS4, Insomniac Games dropped the Far From Home costumes for free this week. The update comes down as soon as you fire up the game.

Without spoilers, the mid-credit scene reminds me a lot of the video game

So...after exploring all I could (pretty much) in the open world, I finally
committed to completing the main story of RDR2. Intense stuff. This game
was well worth the wait we had since RDR. Amazing level of detail...the
multiple ending options being affected by gameplay throughout is
genius...amazing. Just started the epilogue...of course, me being me, I also
spent about 5 hours revisiting Blackwater, Armadillo, and the rest of the map
from the original before I started any of the ranch storyline.

So...question...
INVISO TEXT (Click or highlight to reveal):
if I go back and replay the game, can I avoid contact
with the guy early on who infects me? can I just shoot the guy? I honestly
would not be surprised if there's another path that RS figured out.
