I shudder to think of all the comics I cut up for that amusement park (but, damnit, Palisades was only a short bus ride away)!

Looking at the Aurora Super-Hero model add, it's a shame that Murphy Anderson didn't do (pencils and inks) at least one Batman story while he (Murphy, that is) was in his prime.

Ok. Someone needs to post that Corgi car ad that has the DC heroes running to their respective vehicles that looks like it was drawn by Continuity Studios. That's one of my favorites.

That Superman in that Supergram ad looks like the one that was used for the Kryptonite glow-in-the-dark rock ads.

While I like trade paperbacks, the nostalgia of the ads is one of the included reasons I like buying back issues.
