What do you think of the new ďadultĒ tone?

The use of foul language threw me for a loop, but makes things more realistic. I really like that they're tackling more relevant real world issues.

Also glad to see Anthony Edwards and Lauren Holly on board, but their subplot isn't that interesting.

Also, theyíre really going after Trump this season even more blatantly than they ever did before.

I finished the season. Was dead wrong about that subplot. It got better after I got a couple more episodes under the belt.

I think they realized that no longer being on a regular network meant they didn't have to hold back any more.

Aaron talking up all the stuff about his heritage had me waiting for him to decide to change his last name back. Kind of surprised that didn't happen.

Was surprised at who got killed off....until I checked the actor in question's IMDB credits and saw what they have coming up.

I havenít finished the season yet but it does seem to repeat my main issue with the series - the Maggie Q plot always seems to rarely, if ever, cross over into the Presidential plot.

Iím all for laying the ground, but it does @ times feel like I am watching two different shows from two different genres, & they donít quite know how to gel the two.

Iíll revisit this statement once I have finished the series.

I'm nostalgically revisiting early episodes of Sesame Street and really enjoying the look back.

Or rather, systematically slipping sideways through the strata and substrata of my subconsciousness, supping upon scholastically structured selections of suggestive surrealism and sublime psychedelia; a soulful, spellbinding surfeit of synaptic stimulation and spiritually supportive showmanship; Songs, skits, and subtly soft-peddled schoolwork for unsupervised Seventies-era schoolchildren. So silly sometimes, and still so satisfying.

(Tonight's post has been brought to you by the letter "S" and the numbers Six and Seven.)

I figured you might change your mind about the subplot, Floyd. One thing I may have missed about it tho is

-spoiler alert-

She knew about his mistress, right? If so, it was just dropped as if it never happened. And if not, it was just dropped like it never happened.

There were a couple of things in their conversations that hinted, rather than explicity stated, she knew. ie, the `extracurricular activities' comment.

also, -spoiler alert-

Hannah was probably killed off because Maggie Q doesn't have time for it. According to imdb, she has 3 movies in post production right now.

-end spoler alert-

Next up, finishing off LUCIFER, season 4. I've only seen episode one, as I previously mentioned in the thread for it.

Brian Miller, after a long conversation with a co-worker about Grover monsters and Snuffleupagii, I went looking for my SESAME STREET: OLD SCHOOL dvd's and fortunately found them here at the house rather than in storage. They were right next to THE MUPPET SHOW discs. Guess what comes next. :-)

The last time I even checked out Sesame Street, everyone still thought Snuffleupagus was imaginary. And I don't believe Elmo existed yet.
