HOUSE OF CARDS - UK version - on Blu. Still magnificent, and a very different beast than it's US counterpart (though I like that one too). Ian Richardson was a marvelous actor.

Finished the second season of WAREHOUSE 13, and it's still holding together for me.

The second DVD collection also includes a "crossover" (actually, a guest appearance by a W13 character) with EUREKA. That gave me a chance to sample that show, tho it turned out to be an episode set after a major sea change, so I didn't get a real sense of whether I would enjoy it on a regular basis.

Marathon viewing (last couple weeks) of the entire Up Series.

The central thesis is the old Jesuit expression "Give me a child until he is seven and I will give you the man". Don't know if it is true or not (it seems personality is generally set by then), but for whatever reason it's very interesting.

Even though, by its nature, there is a lot of recapping, as I watched them close in on my age, and then overtake it, it was quite bizarre.

Highly recommended, as you can take your own meaning from it. I think the recurring theme of the importance of family and rolling with the punches is mainly what I get out of it.

Roger Ebert review the series HERE.

Caught up on the two most recent episodes of PARKS AND RECREATION this evening. For the past several weeks the show has felt, to me, a bit like it was running on fumes, but these two were more on track.

Is this the last season? So many "endings."

Also continuing to enjoy WAREHOUSE 13.

No news on P&R just yet, but indications are that it will be picked up for a seventh season.  You and I have talked about this season with regard to the feeling that it's wrapping up, but I think that just boils down to people moving on more than wrapping the series up.  Personally, I still think it's a brilliant series.  One of my favorites in recent memory.

Finished S4 of WAREHOUSE 13. So I guess this puts me into the weekly grind with the mere mortals.

First two episodes of S5 are OnDemand, but although I'll be time shifting, I think I will actually watch only one per week.

Started S5 of W13 last night -- ONE episode, tho TWO are currently available OnDemand. This exercise is going to severely tax my self-restraint!!

You're gotten this far, so it's impressive that it's still holding your interest!  You can do it!  I know you can!

Beginning NEWHART, Season 3. This was where I started watching the show on a regular basis, having dipped in a few times in the first two seasons and not been impressed.

Pleased to report that the show, at least for me, holds up very well. Find myself a little sad, tho, every time Mary Frann is on camera.
