And how many of you recall, I wonder, that this is not my FIRST encounter with Big Red…?

That's me, terrified out of my mind, inking Kirby back in 1978!

One of my favorites.  What an inspired choice.

Just thinking out loud, but I'm digging the red.  It might be something to play with on other commissions.  I wouldn't want to have full colors, but I do like the one color just to highlight or add some zest where appropriate.  Some red on a Superman or Spider-Man. Maybe yellow on Batman or Luke Cage & Iron Fist.  Who knows.  This is really a fun one though.

To my eye, color only works on black and white images under very specific circumstances. The blood on Sabertooth's claws, for instance, or Devil Dinosaur because he's ALL red.

Spotting red on Superman, as one example, would probably make the figure seem "unfinished". (See below)   A red Daredevil, on the other hand, might work (tho I would be worried about the exposed area of his face).

In other words… kinda tricky!

I love the graphic nature of the teeth.

I have to ask: how did you add the red and what sort of
ink is it?

Looks cool.  I like the color.  Who is the monkey on top?
