I think it's a little to heavy on the current artists & writers.  A few notable exclusions that I would have included are Al Hartley, Stan Goldberg, Dan Adkins, Dan DeCarlo and yes, Vinnie Colletta from the 60's.  Also Rich Buckler, Billy Graham, Ernie Chua, George Tuska, Ron Wilson and Keith Pollard from the 70's and Bob Layton and David Michelinie from the 80's.  And I'm sure there are many others that I haven't mentioned.

Thoughts?

Shcked that Layton, Micheline, Chan and Wilson aren't there, yet Reginald Hudlin is...

Surprised to see Layton and Michelinie left out. Surprised to see Berni
included. How much Marvel work has he done?

(Make a list of the top artists in comic, and Berni better be near the top --
but at Marvel?)

Would have had to burn the place to the ground if Marie had not been on
the list!

Larry Lieber is on there, Roger Stern is another obvious ommission of course.

Bernie Wrightson's work was some early 70's horror - the Man-Thing in particular.

And yes, Marie Severin has to make any list.

Lieber is about #15.

Not including Roger is a crime.

They'd have "Nothing can stop the Juggernaut" (rightly) towards the top of any of their "kewl" lists, yet left out the person who wrote it on their 'hall of fame'!!! Absolutely 101% shocking. But utterly predictable. "No one died in those books!"

OK, I see Larry did make the cut, but no Roger Stern? That's bulls**t. Liefield was a major name and made a big splash leading into the speculator boom so regardless of his current reputation I can see his name making the list, especially cosidering the smaller impact some of the other names on the list have made.  But excluding Roger is unforgivable.

Am I missing something or are none of the guys from the filipino invasion on that list? Alcala, Dezuniga, Chan, Nino, Nebres etc? Frank Thorne and John Severin also seem to be missing. These guys were central to Conan and the other "Howardverse" books. Didn't see Ross Andru or Bill Sienkiewicz  either.

Ah, well. I guess it's too much to expect my personal favorites to be on the hall of fame list.
