With all the talk of chimps and face-mauling and Day of the Monkey and so on, which got me thinking about how some things aren't meant to be pets, which got me wondering what the Forum's favorite uncontrollable beasts, monsters and/or accursed from comics are?
Key: Man-Thing, Griffin, Dragon Man, Man-Wolf, Lizard, Vermin, Lucky Barnes, the Glob, Armadillo, LoEG Mr. Hyde, Killer Croc, Grundy, Nuklo, Man-Bat, Woodgod and the Werewolf By Night.
Keep'm around at your own risk!
Yours?

I have this nightmare, reoccurring nightmare, I'm in a dark room, the door opens, blinding light from behind someone as they walk in, the door closes, and there's this voice, can't tell where it comes from, loud, seemingly from everywhere.....Al, it's a date!

Well, so much for sleeping tonight...
Seriously, I'm partial to Solomon Grundy.

One book that I've been fantasizing about (I'm too old for girls, now) is a
Marvel Essentials about the 1950's Lee & Kirby Monsters.
I've got a copy of Marvel's Monster Masterworks but it only has 18 tales, 3 of
which are by Ditko.

Oh yea, I do indeed love them Marvel Monsters.
The "Fin Fang Four" -
(Elktro, Gorgilla, Googam, Son of Goom and Fin Fang Foom)
Classic monsters -
(Giganto, Gormuu, It the Living Colossus, Kurrgo's Robot, Orrgo, Tim Boo Bah, Tricephalous, Xemnu the Titan)
And some Marvel Horror -
(Baron Blood, Vlad Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, Ghost Rider, the Hulk, the Living Mummy, the Man-Thing, the Man-Wolf, Morbius the Living Vampire, the Lizard, the Werewolf by Night, the Zombie Simon Garth)
- Robert, the Micro-Monster Maker

An obscure mid-70s FF villain called Darkoth, who I absolutely fell in love with when I saw his entry in the Marvel Handbook, and Gargoyle from the Defenders.

I am with Jesus. Would love to see an Essentials with all those stories reprinted.
I would have to go with the Lizard. Always enjoyed his appearances. Really wish he would have been one of the baddies in the Spider-Man movies.
