Because no one seems to have started a thread yet....

So what'd you guys think of the wrap up to this series?

I haven't quite finished my copy yet so I'll just say.....great cover!

uh....wrong thread Daniel.....

Back to FX:

Well, a big congratulations to Wayne for making his vision become a reality.  After what seemed like such a long anticipation it's hard to believe the six issues series has come to a close.  I look forward to more FX and hopefully an FX website where I can get my FX news!

But did you like it, Joe? And the rest of you guys, too.....now that's the first
mini is over - I'm very curious as to what you all thought about it.
Obviously, the art was stellar. I just hope the story met your expectations.

I genuinely did like it, Wayne.  I thought the "voice" you wrote the dialog with was spot on.  I enjoyed the cast of characters, the settings and the multitude of happenings in each issue.  I like FX's powers....Green Lantern-ish but different.

Now that the first series made it to print I look forward to future issues that will take more time to expand on the heroes, supporting characters and villains.

I really wish there had been a "letter to the readers" at some point in the series.  The first issue would've been ideal I guess.  I just think some background on how this came to fruition would've been intriguing to lots of comic book fans.  Hopefully you can write a thorough introduction to the trade?  Here's hoping the brilliantly titled "Cause and FX!" column shows up in the second series!

NEVER the end.....(thought that was a nice touch!)

I loved it. Loved the boyfriend comment though I think she was fibbing a little bit.

Yeah - that was my biggest rookie mistake, I think. There should have
been something like that in the first issue and maybe a recap or
something throughout - or at least something that explained the
influences that popped up in the series.

But have no fear, the "Cause and FX" column will appear in the TPB and I'll
try to make up for that. You will receive full credit for the name too.

To paraphrase, "there is another" (or there will be - probably early next
year)

And thanks for the feedback, guys. Keep it coming.

My LCS was out of it when I stopped by after work.  Same happened to me with #2 at the same place.  I'll check a couple other stores in the area, then order through Midtown if I can't find it.  I'm really looking forward to it.  As I said in the New Comics thread, I hope to see more from you, Wayne, and I'd love to see the Foundation in their own book.

Wayne, I really enjoyed the book.  I liked the characters, the story and the of course the art.  Great choices on lettering and coloring.  Loved the covers and the box on the left "Old Marvel Style".  It felt like and read like a comic should be.  Fun, light-hearted but intense and action packed also.  Good premise and payoff.  I loved your ideas and what is coiming next.  I was 100% behind the idea and would have supported it no matter what, but you really did a good job and made me like the book and look forward to reading it first when I got it each month.
