Thanks, everybody.  Just don't tell my wife; Superman is her annual Christmas figure for the year.

Nice work, Lars.  I really enjoyed your FF and New Gods figures.  I'd love to see what you come up with next.

Steve you have a really cool wife. Also really sweet of you to make her such great custom made figures.

Wayne, Thanks, the guy I gave it to liked it a lot. He is a teacher of my sons and he is an amazing teacher, his kids got a chuckle he liked a My Little pony.

Thanks guys,
HA Yeah Jeff, the Sue figure IS invisible! Yeah that's the ticket.

Steve, as far as what's next for me, I dunno.
I haven't customized in so long all my paints have dried up!
I still have a few figures waiting for completion,
but I can't say I'll ever finish 'em.
However, this last figure just needs a last coat of paint to be done.

Maxima, from the Superman TAS episode 'Warrior Queen'.

This was from an Earthworm Jim fig, 'Princess Whats'er Name'
The blue and yellow on her right calf is obviously where I held on to the figure to apply the paint job.
(Who knows when I'll ever finish)

edit to add pics

Amazing customs, guys and Jodi = Awesome Pony Customizer!

I haven't been doing much for custom work for a while, but I want to share some of my customs too (most of these were made about 5 + years ago)...

Alpha Flight

Some Doom Patrol

Lars and Dana great work, Lars I love that Earthworm Jim figure you used it can be used for so many things and it was cheap to pick up.  Dana you should do some more customizing you so nnice work.

Thanks for the nice words regarding my ponies.

Dana, excellent work!
I'm jealous of that Nemesis figure. Well done.

Jodi thanks, and yeah the Earthworm Jim fig is perfect scale to the Batman animated figures. 'Princess Whats'ername'. Back in the day there were Toy shows around here like every other month, and I always picked up alot of loose toys cheap. A customizer's dream. Fodder always comes in handy even if you don't have an idea in mind for what to use them for beforehand.

Lars it's a slippery slope my friend, I would go to flea markets and pick up figures I thought would come in handy for dirt cheap and now I have 2 totes filled with spare figures. :0) My husband can not understand why I don't get rid of them. I keep thinking I will get back doing action figures. I miss that Toyfare doesn't do the Homemade Heroes feature, it always had creative challenges that made me want to do them.

Aye Jodi.
I have at least a dozen waiting for new 'identities'
and a LONG to-do list.

Been a while since this thread has been updated, so I thought I'd throw this at you.

The Viper isn't assembled yet.  I've spent a lot of time building subassemblies and working out the mechanics of the landing gear.  I just like to test-fit parts at this stage.  Gives me encouragement to keep going.

Oh, and please ignore the messy workbench.  I've got about six projects going at once, and I'm not much of a housekeeper.
