I had the pleasure of visiting JB's home studio two weeks ago to pick up a few end-page sketches that I commissioned from him back when he did the the Mid-Ohio-Con 2008 promotional poster. While I've been to visit JB in his sanctum sanctorum a few times, it's always a pleasure to meet him in person, to see what's going on in his studio, and to check out all the amazing original comic art and other cool collectibles that he has on display. This time I remembered to bring my camera, so check out the photos at my Picasa Gallery.  I've also inserted below a great shot of JB with my Alpha Flight bound volume as well as clean scans of the end-page sketches that he did.

For those who race to the phonebook after viewing the Gallery, it should be
noted that James is in Stamford, I'm not.

My office is indeed in Stamford, CT.  Contrary to what you may have read, the city was not destroyed by by Nitro at the beginning of Marvel's Civil War saga.

Well, what's sitting half painted on my kitchen table may improve that a bit,
Ryan.

Just out of curiosity...How DOES one gets an invitation to the studio?

A question spawned by a case of envy...

Thanks for sharing the pics from JB's house.

I also like the pictures of Rekha Sharma at the NY Comicon. :-)
