I'm dizzy!
The artwork has me reeling, it's so good.
But Wayne -- the story has me reeling too. When is this all coming together?!

In addition to the main characters and story, I love seeing more and more of the "Wayne-verse" with each issue. This really should be an ongoing series.

My son brought me my copy last night, what a solid series, I have completely enjoyed following this story and I have grown to care about the main character. I love the joy in his face when he becomes the different FX's , so perfect for the age and type of boy he seems to be. Very well done indeed!
The artwork reminds me of the comics I grew up with and loved. When I am reading it, I feel sort of like I am that 10 yr old little girl with the pile of comic books, laying in the bottom bunk on a summer vacation day, thinking life really can't get much better then this.

Or maybe a "Wayne-verse" Character Primer with art by Mr. Byrne perhaps?

FX is certainly one of the comics I truly look forward to reading each month. Very compelling and unique.

I see this thread is going to get boring!
What can I say? This book is great. Not a bad thing about it.
As mentioned above the writing and art is fantastic and it bring you back
to the days of real good, classy, classic books.
All the Kudos you get, Wayne, John and the rest of the team on this book
(Including IDW as well for having the foresight to publish FX) is well
deserved.
Bravo!

Wayne, will we ever get to see what Mudslide and Splash looked like
before they gained their special abilities? (That's assuming they weren't
born with them. Yikes!)

Another very fun issue! FX has clearly become the comic I look most forward to each month!
Some questions and comments:
1. Svengali is a nice name for a villain. I looked up the definition and it fits him perfectly: "a person who completely dominates another, usually with selfish or sinister
motives"
2. Again, really appreciate how much you are fitting in each issue.
3. Love the visual on Mudslide and as mentioned by others above I can't wait to get to know the Foundation better.
4. Great visual storytelling by JB on page 17, showing us that Mudslide is being controlled, how and by whom. Impressive.
5. Nice ending. Looking forward to finding out Jack's apparent connection with the Aegis Group.
6. "Coming Next Month"......great looking cover!!!
7. Wayne, how are ordering totals going as the series progresses? Do you have sales figures on the first four issues? I just wondered if it appears to be gaining readership or whatever. My LCS has been heavily stocked with each issue. I talked it up a little so maybe I helped.

Wallace, Splash looks pretty much like what his containment suit looks
like but Mudslide used to look a lot better than he does now. Maybe one
day we'll get their origin story - I hope so. And kudos to John for the
design of the group. He picked ethnicity and had the idea for Splash's
suit.
Joe, the first issue sold almost 7,000 copies. The second sold almost
4,500 copies. That's a bigger drop off than I'd like but the second was
ordered before the first had even come out. Which really makes it tough
for a new book to find its footing in the market. To be honest, I don't
know how anybody small makes it in this crazy industry. But hopefully,
these numbers will pick up due to good reviews and word-of-mouth.
Which makes the effort and help that you guys from the forum have given
me mean that much more. I really do appreciate it.
Thanks
WO
