I was trying to find an X-men book form this time called the Children of the Atom.  I know that there was a comic called this and a sci fi book by this name.  I was able to find a list of various Marvel books from the 60's and 70's but not that one.  Does anyone know if it exists or is it my imagination/miss remembering?

Spider-Man & The Incredible Hulk: Murdermoon by Paul Kupperberg

Captain America: Holocaust for Hire
Captain America: The Great Gold Steal by Ted White (1967)

The Avengers Battle the Earth Wrecker
by Otto Binder (1967)
THE MAN WHO STOLE TOMORROW  Marvel #10 book

Fantastic Four: Doomsday by Marv Wolfman

The Incredible Hulk: Cry of the Beast by Richard Meyers
The Incredible Hulk: Stalker from the Stars by Len Wein, Marv Wolfman, & Joseph Silva

Iron Man: And Call My Killer...Modok!

Doctor Strange: Nightmare
by William Rotsler

The Marvel Super-Heroes, edited by Len Wein & Marv Wolfman

My pleasure John! No problem.
I found the pic on Ebay - the whole series is up.(11 novels)
I still own all the books and I have the Captain America(from '67)
but not the Avengers (from 67) you mentioned above.

I can post all the covers here if you like. Let me know.

The Avengers story in that book became a couple of issues of Avengers
later. I remember reading the comics and thinking, "This is awfully familiar."

Michael Lee wrote, "Not much of a novel at 50 pages..."

Sorry I wasn't too clear, the book is 208 pages, but the
X-Men short story itself is 50 pages.

Still a bargain at the cover price of $2.25 (published 1979)

I own the Dr.Strange novel, and it's a pretty good read.

WOW !  I didn't realize there were so many !  Are they all out of print?  Or are there any more current releases?  I just love the "old school" covers !
