Wow, what a bunch of Marvel Zombies ;-)

Power Ring is a relatively new character, dating back to only ... Justice League of America #29, 1964.

The chess piece appears to be the modern Power Ring. Looks like he first appeared in the latest volume (sigh) of JLA #23.

Of course, he cannot compare to the classic villains of Marvel. Like this guy.

UGH, the brackets in my links don't copy properly:

I usually stop collecting such titles when it reaches a point where I fail to recognize the characters. :)

What sort of stuff is the magazine covering now? After 77 issues, is there much more to be said about chess?

The Black Adam and the "Shazam" figures nearly make me ill just from looking at the photos. "Let's keep piling stuff on to make it more sleek!"

Had accidently posted this in the Marvel figurine section.

I just finished doing a custom Supergirl since I wasn't too keen on either the original DC figurine version or the DC chess version. I decided to use a DC Shazam Mary as the base.
