Since most of my favorite classic outfits have already been mentioned, I'll go with a couple of Legionnaires:

Ultra Boy, who was always kinda cool looking.
Shadow Lass (Cockrum/Grell era) a blue babe fighting criminals whilst clad in a black swimsuit and cape truly appeals to the Captain Kirk in me!

Green Lantern (Bronze Age/Superfriends, with shoulders covered).  SA Flash and Classic Iron Man are close.

Black Canary (No mask, gotta luv the fishnets).

That's SO not fair, John (limiting choices to one of each).  Meanie.

OK...Neal Adams' Angel, and Dave Cockrum's Phoenix.

For my favorite male costume I'm going with this Captain Mar-Vell design by Dashing Don Heck.  Other favorite male costumes would be Spider-Man [by Steve Ditko], the Classic Iron Man Armor [Also by Ditko], the Silver Age Green Lantern [by Gil Kane], the Silver Age Atom [also by Kane] the Silver Age Flash [Carmine Infantino], Captain America [by Jack Kirby], the black and white Angel costume [Neal Adams], Green Arrow [by Adams], Black Bolt [by Kirby], the Vision [by John Buscema], Yellowjacket [also by Buscema], Adam Warlock with the lightning bolt on his chest [by Gil Kane?] and Daredevil [by Wally Wood].

For female costumes my favorite isn't really a super-hero costume at all, but it'd be Zatanna's magician outfit [i believe it was designed by Murphy Anderson].  Some other favorite women's costumes would be Phoenix [by Dave Cockrum], the original Batgirl costume [by Infantino], Black Canary [Infantino?], the classic Scarlet Witch [Kirby], the Valkyrie [John Buscema?], the Black Widow's black leather look [John Romita], and Mantis [Bob Brown?].
