So does anyone know a specific issue or have an image of  the Mother box from the New Gods?

Second pic is interesting -- looks like the NuDC artistes have decided that the Mother Box would be kewler if it looked like a cross between a Cosmic Cube and a Borg ship . . .

I like the Forever people's special "combo" Mother Box.  I'm currently reading Jack Kirby's Mister Miracle collection.  In it, Scott Free slips off his mask to reveal Mother Box circuitry sewn on the underside of the cloth.

++++++++++++++++

Amazing bit of mindreading there Kreskin. One picture out of hundreds of appearances of Mother Boxes, and you have to slam all the modern artists. I guess that's the "Kewl" thing to do tho.

As far as I know they all look different. Each one is tailored to a particular individual. " In physical appearance they are most often in the shape of a small box, but they can also be much larger (as is the one carried by the Forever People), and do not always need to be in the shape of a box at all (Mr. Miracle had Mother Box' circuitry woven into the hood of his costume). "

So as I understand it, the "look" of a Mother Box is up for interpretation.

Who is the weird-lookin guy in the second pic that Daniel posted, and why is
his left arm so broken and misshapen?

Also, did anyone see this gag in PVP the other day?

Ping! Ping!

That is suppose to be Metron as drawn by Howard Porter circa a Justice League story during the Grant Morrison days on the title.

Or as I like to call it, 'The Best Damn Superheroes Ever Written'. Man, I miss that run, the JLA has never been as good.
