I get your point, Ari, but :

She Hulk is very hard to do without color and still have the character identifiable, especially from a profile, where you can't see the spit curl

Hum ! :

But J.B. had more than 3 mn to do that commission, it's true.

That's not really a profile piece as much as 3/4 face piece, and the curl is visible....and it is John "She Hulk" Byrne

Nice Infantino pieces Ari. I think the Batgirl one is particularly cool.

Thanks for the kind words about the Infantino pieces.  As a kid, I'd have never thought it possible to ever lay my hands on an Infantino Flash, but to get a Batman and a Batgirl as well.  Let's just say, it is a pleasure and an honor

This Byrne/Sinnott beauty was sitting at my front door when I arrived home from work. This page is much bigger than I expected!! I'm guessing it measures 14x19.

Byrne + Sinnott = Neat!  How many times did they team up?

Outside of this annual, I know Joe Sinnott inked JB on his first "run" on the FF and an issue of The Avengers. I also recall Sinnott inking some of X-Men: The Hidden Years. I'm sure I'm missing something else.

This is my second piece of art that is inked by Mr. Sinnott. I also have a splash page from Thor where he inked Ron Frenz. On both pieces Joe has signed the back of the page.

Joe inked the following JB issues:

FF: Annual 19, 209-215, 217, 218, 220, 221, 288, 289

Marvel Two in One: 50, 53-55

Avengers: 233

and X-Men Hidden Years: 7-9 (I am certain Joe inked the FF figures in 8, not so sure about 7 & 9).

Total ammount: 18 (maybe 20) issues. Quite enough, I'd say. As for the results, Avengers 233 is my perosnal favorite. I really liked the combination there.

Since we are talking about Joe Sinnott - Here is a recent addition - Gene Colan and Joe Sinnott from Captian America. (Brilliant brushwork by Joe!)

Colan and Sinnott go well together.  Colan is one of those artists whose work looks invariably better in black and white to my eye (not that he's any slouch in color).
