Great pieces, guys!

James, the Giarrusso is the bomb. Congrats on winning the Hughes piece for Comic-Con. It's a beauty.

Dave Aikins, I like it better when you don't share. That way I don't have to be jealous.

Dave Phelps. Cool idea. I like it.

This is not superhero art, so many of yours eyes will just glaze over. But for those of you who are fans of the 40's Tarzan or have attended School of Visual Arts (pre-1970) or Art Center Collage of Design (Pasadena) into the 90s you might know this artist.
I have been a big fan of Burne Hogarth's Tarzan work on the newspaper strip and the two Tarzan books he did in the 1970s. I have been wanting an original Tarzan strip but the sundays are out of my reach so I was thrilled when I got a chance to own the original to one of the three posters used in 1947 to promote the Cartoonists and Illustrators School later to become  School of Visual Arts.

I think Hilary Barta is very underrated. He hit one out of the park with this commission. (Thanks to Jason for helping me shrink the pic. Stupid computer is acting up.)

For a larger pic check out my CAF. http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=662702&am p;GSub=43591

I'm sure he would love it. I'll just have to email him and tell him not to top mine.

Got a bit indulgent in satisfying my love of Paul Pelletier's art on Incredible Hulk. This resulted in my buying several pages beginning with last month's Incredible Hulk #610, page 21:
