I love Ron Frenz. He's seriously one of my very favorite superhero artists. I've wanted this one for a while. I asked for Odin in some Kirby-type ceremonial armor. Akron Comic Con:

If only Ryan Sook would draw more stories. He's really, really good.

The Ron Frenz/Joe Rubenstein Amazing Spider-Man in the 1980s was pretty damn good.

Over the months, I've largely stopped sharing new art acquisitions, because it appears that this thread is no longer very active. This piece is one that I'm especially excited about and so thought I'd post it for the enjoyment of those who are left.

Batman and Hulk! Some nice Garcia-Lopez Joker, there. I've always meant to ask... when they do those oversized comics is the source art drawn on bigger paper?

This makes 9 pages that I've gathered from this book. I think I only got one directly from Jose. That was a panel page, featuring Banner in the lab.
The Bristol paper is the standard size of approximately 11x17".
The Ross Andru page I picked up from the Superman vs. Spider-Man treasury is actually smaller than that!

I love how Jose drew the bottom page!
BTW - I just checked out your gallery. You have quite an impressive collection of his work.

Jose Garcia Lopez's Batman is as good as anyone, for my money. Must have got all his bad art out of his system at a very young age, as he's always good!

Wow. Maguire's art was easily the best thing about JUSTICE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL and I really wish he had a regular gig.

Big day at Casa de Hollon:

That is my art haul that arrived today courtesy of Jim Warden. What you're looking at is all the remaining pages from JB's JURASSIC PARK limited series from a few years back! I'll post the highlights here (a couple covers and a double splash) and eventually the individual pages at my CAF gallery. Just had to share! Thanks Jim and of course JB!

Joe that Frenz, Odin drawing is nucking Futs!
He friended me on Facebook. He posts commissions there all the time including in process photos. Sure would be nice if the new powers that be gave him a series at Marvel.

Stupid question time - where do you guys get your art from? I've mainly been finding pages from the obvious vendors (i.e. the comic art dealers you can find on google), but when I look on Comic Art Fans, people are buying/posting things that never hit those sites. Are those just peer to peer sales, or am I missing something?

I buy many from the artists and Many from auction. I’ve lucked into a few pieces through private sales with current owners.
