Thanks Aaron !
I had been looking for a long time for a nice page with Amphibian, so I was very happy when these two came up.
And I'm very curious to see your pages !

Picked up a sweet Nestor Redondo piece entitled "Osiris and Isis" from "Men,
Maiden and Myths" Portfolio published in 1979. One of the nicest pieces I have
seen by Redondo.

I'm amazed that someone could just draw that!

Brian, thanks for posting. I hadn't heard of Redondo before and just looked up more of his artwork. Wow. What a talent.

Rich,
You should try and find the Rima series from DC 1974. He also worked with Joe
Kubert on the Bible also from mid 70s.

Ari, do you simply request "Batman on gargoyle" and leave the rest of to the artists?

Last piece of the year. Loved the back covers Alan Davis and Paul Neary did
for the series. This one features Meggan.

We hosted our family holiday meal this past Sunday. It
began as a great day, until my father had a sudden,
shocking and pretty damn frightening health scare in the
midst of it. Very surreal moment that was made more
manageable due to the love in the house at the time. This
was one of the gifts from that day. *Thanks for reading.*

Edit: Jose mentioned that he modelled "Tiny", the deputy,
after Billy the Kid.

Fred, glad to hear things worked out during dinner. And congrats on another fine piece for the Garcia-Lopez museum you seem to be destined to build.

I let the last Detective Comics page that Eddy Barrows
did slip through my fingers and, despite wanting to buy
it, brought it to NYCC and sold it within minutes of
arriving. I wasn't going to let that happen to this one.
Love the energy that Eddy and Eber Ferreira brought to
this page as well as the nod to the classic Bat symbol,
that was used for the published title page of the issue.

Not familiar with the artist, but I like it.  Bit of a Moebius vibe . . .
