Talking about Wolverine cutting Superman with his claws got me to thinking, could the Squadron Sinister's Hyperion beat the current version of Superman? Wasn't Hyperion (the classic version) on a par with the pre-crisis Earth-One Superman?

That's probably the coolest picture of Hyperion I've seen so far.

I think the general consensus is that clones get beaten by the original.

BTW, where's that Hyperion pic from? When did he team up with Earth-X Cap
and Spider-Ham?

True, but wasn't Hyperion a "clone" of the 1970's Superman?

Hyperion is a knock-off. Super-hero combat rule 11B specifically states that when the original fights a knock-off, the original wins. You could put Superman in a kryptonite straightjacket and he would still win.

I always thought it was cool that Marvel's Superman copy wore the original Captain Marvel's colors. ;-)

The Hyperion image is from one of Marvel's Handbooks for Alternate universes.

Hyperion, Prime and a few other similar characters could take on Superman together and still have a tough fight on their hands.

Oops! Daniel's right, I was thinking of this cover.

I got the images mixed up in my mind.

Exiles has been a fun read. A few rough patches here and there (whoever thought of that month of all silent issues should be shot).
