Not quite as comprehensive as the Iron Fist/Captain America "progression", but still a peek at the steps involved…

I especially love the claws around Storm...

Nice!

It's very interesting to the see the transition through to the final product.

Thank you for sharing, Mr. Byrne.

ETA: There was supposed to be a 'to' between through and the.

Great piece JB. It's cool to see Phoenix in a danger room session. I don't remember her as Phoenix ever participating in an exercise in there. Probably would have been a short session.

Neat!  It's always fun to see you do the X-Men, especially Scott and Phoenix.  Thanks for sharing, especially the early glimpses!

JB - By industry standards, would you consider the first version or the second version finished enough to be breakdowns that another artist could finish and then ink?  (eg, Frank Miller and Klaus Janson on later issues of Daredevil)

Love your Danger Room shots, JB!

The way you draw machines and wall/floor panels, it often gives me the impression of a Kubrick set design. Yet, not as emotionless or somber. If that makes any sense!

Nice exploding pipe. How long did this commission take, start to finish?
