I was being a smartass.

And you do it well.  Oops!  Sorry to overstep that boundary. :-)

Seriously, going through your list of characters that you've drawn, seeing Box's name brightened my day.  I loved the character, when you were on Alpha Flight!  Great look and design aspect.  Your "robots" ROCK!!

Speaking of robots, I'm currently re-reading the Comics Interview book that collected various interviews with you, and in it they have your cover to She-Hulk #9 with "Roger the Robot".  Since you left the book before that issue, can you share what your story idea was for that issue?

Awesome work JB. Probably my favorite commission you've done since I've been a member of the forum.

Such a great costume design.

An interesting commission request might be Guardian vs. good old Captain Canuck!

Guardian is now the first Alpha Flightian to have a solo image commission.  I think the cover of Alpha Flight 3, with Aurora, would make for a dandy reimagining (in case anyone is looking for another Alpha Flight commission idea).

This might be one for the FAQs.

I'd planned to introduce a very ROG-like golden robot as Jen's butler. She was going to meet him when she found herself prosecuting him for murder in a story I could not resist titling "Who Framed Roger Robot?"

Wow, that would've been a gem! No one does She Hulk stories like you do.

Yep, That's the page the customer asked me to use
as the "model" for the new piece.

I like the new one more.

So much for that whole "your old stuff is better" business!

Argh!  It must be mine!  I'm running home to look at my AF commission so I can get a big Guardian 'fix'.  Thanks for sharing and congrats to the lucky stiff that ordered this one.

You haven't been paying attention, Glenn! There are
plenty of folks pointing to the commission pieces
and still declaring "his old stuff was better".

Really does make me wonder -- especially when
ALPHA FLIGHT is in the equation -- which "old
stuff" they could possibly mean!
