Awesome work, JB!  If this were a cover, I'd sure like to read the comic.  (Sinestro should be in the Top 5 Most Feared Villains in the DCU!)

Absolutely! Alas, I think his name probably gets in the way. Too many "sophisticated" readers and writers embarassed by it.

It's like -- I'll be at a party, and find myself talking about what I do for a living, and a name like "Doctor Doom" will float from my lips, and for just a moment, surrounded by civilians, I get a brief disconnect, and a flash of how goofy a name like that probably sounds to someone not steeped in the lore (or, preferably, a kid). Then my brain clicks back to the proper setting, and all is once again right with the world.

For many people currently producing and reading comics, tho, I get the feeling that disconnect happened a long time back, and has never reset itself. (You know -- the ones who thought "yellow Spandex" was a hilarious line.)

Fantastic.  I agree about it feeling like a lost "Super Powers" issue!

Love the Joker hover craft! Is that something new JB I don't recall ever seeing something like that before. Also love the Gorilla Grodd! And the Green Lantern Batman Sinestro Flash...

Awsome! Sometimes I think your art is TOO good, JB. It's such a tease. Maybe it's because your artwork is so cinematic... I wish I could see every comic book movie made animated as well as this image here.
