Okay, let's do this!

  1. The Battle of Epping Forest
  2. Dodo/Lurker
  3. The Carpet Crawlers
  4. Squonk
  5. Man of Our Times
  6. Supper's Ready
  7. Dancing with the Moonlit Knight
  8. The Musical Box
  9. Duke's Travels/Duke's End
  10. Home by the Sea/Second Home by the Sea
  11. Can-Utility & The Coastliners
  12. Me And Sarah Jane
  13. Dance on a Volcano
  14. Get 'em Out by Friday
  15. I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe)
  16. In The Cage
  17. Do the Neurotic
  18. The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
  19. Unquiet Slumbers for the Sleepers.../...In That Quiet Earth
  20. The Knife

Holy crap that was like Sophie's Choice.  For the record, that's 11 from Gabriel's era, 3 from the four-man era, and 6 from the trio.  Poor And Then There Were Three... got shut out, and Invisible Touch snuck in with a B-side.

How far down before we get any love for Calling All Stations?  Not much further.  I bet top thirty would contain one...

Calling All Stations ... hmmm ... I might take a song or
two over some of the Invisible Touch songs ... but
that's about it.

There are four songs I really like on Calling All Stations:

  1. Calling All Stations - nice guitar
  2. Shipwrecked - great lush pop song
  3. Alien Afternoon - good G vibe - sort of a cross between "Silver Rainbow" (#21 on my favorite list!) and (thematically) "Keep It Dark"
  4. Uncertain Weather - Ray's vocal masterpiece

I'd like "Calling All Stations" (the song) if I could
edit it. It starts out promising, but wears out its
welcome.

I DO like "Not About Us".

"Congo" is a fun video to watch. Some of the other
songs are cool to watch on the 1998 concert bootlegs
with Ray in Europe. Other than that, it amounts to a
side project for Mike and Tony.

Calling All Stations would be one of the many Genesis albums I don't have  (though it'd probably make Kavin feel good to know that I think I have a higher percentage of Genesis' output than Rush's*).

*  That's a win for the Genesis Thread vs. the Rush Thread, right?  ;)

Al, would it help if I point out that I do believe that Rush have made more albums and hence the percentages may not tell the full story.  Also, I'm working off memory here.

(And percentage wise, I think my VdGG collection beats the crap out of both Genesis and Rush).
