Okay, basically the same as last time. Your assignment is to come up with the four pages that precede THIS image.

You will have until March 1st to complete this assignment. Deadline will be midnight that day, no excuses. All entries must come in on March 1st, not earlier. This time collaborations will be allowed (writer/penciler/inker), but no "consultation" between members who are not working together on the same pages.

Let's hope those collaborations don't lead to some of you learning what happens when part of the "team" drops the ball.

Don't fret about telling a "complete story". Worry only about a logical build-up to this scene.

As before, tho I may have some comments to offer, it will be YOU who judge each others' work.

Go to it!

Everybody is working from the same image (which,
by the way, is the same resolution as all the others
I have posted). Your call.

Is it possible to do these pages without dialogue?

I'm no artist, but I'd love to script this for anyone wanting to draw it ...

My credentials, if anyone is interested: I'm a published, produced playwright with an MFA in Playwriting ... I also write jokes for Weekend Update on "SNL" on a freelance basis (the joke about women who "Date Bert but marry Ernie" from a few weeks ago was mine) ... haven't really done any comic book scripting, but I'm REALLY eager to try this.

Can we add dialogue to the commission page to round out the five pages, or should we just leave that page alone?

I hate to ask this, but does it have to be 4 pages?  Can we do 2 if that's all that time permits? (Of course it's a huge amount of time from now until March 1 for only 4 pages, but... you know, job, family :-)

Does this contest include only drawing and inking, or can we add coloring too ? (without extending the delay due to the drawers)
