I think some of the other members have been looking for spinner racks. Just came across this one on ebay when i was just digging around. Not much time on the listing though. They don't have all of it, but someone may still be interested.

Looks like the one I have -- except for the missing
base and the slogans at the top.
Cost me $50 from the local distributor, circa 1977.

Well, I guess that confirms I'm going to have to pay a good bit when I eventually find one. That one doesn't have the stand or the base, and it's 51 bucks. And it's not the one that says "Hey Kids! Comics!"

I purchased one new from a Tennessee fixtures company four years ago... thirtysomething dollars plus shipping.
Very easy to print out covers for the top signage area. Occasionally the "Hey Kids" original sign appears on ebay for an affordable price.
It squeaks just like the old ones.

I looked around on Google and it seems as if there are a number of companies that manufacture and sell spinner racks today. Of course, I'd rather have the original with the "Hey Kids Comics" sign, but a new one might be cool anyhow.

For the historical record, those little top signs said:
The Best in COMICS
COMICS for All Ages
Wholesome COMICS Entertainment
COMICS Merry-Go-Round
Hey, Kids! COMICS!

Here's mine! Got it in 1985, for $50, from my local distributor. Hard to
believe that I've had it for over 20 years. JB, I'd love to see a pic of your
Spinner rack, if you're so inclined.
Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff, that looks way too cool! I was recently in a comic shop while on vacation and they had one in the back of the store loaded up with books. I thought about asking him how much he'd want for it, but didn't.
