You know why doesn't this guy and his ilk just read FF for the whole
marriage, family, balancing responsibilities, etc., themes if it means so
much.

Why don't they just read something else? If the thirty year old married man is too young for them, why not just start reading comics about 40 year olds? If you outgrow something, move on.
