Invisio-text spoilers below...

According to the latest confirmed spoiler reports, Spider-Man will unmask and reveal himself to the world (with Iron Man standing unmasked right next to him).

I'd say any last ounce of the real Spider-Man that was still hanging on by a thread is dead now...

Indeed. I've not bought or read a single first-run Marvel Comic since the stab-wound in the gut that was "Sins Past".

I'm still convinced (or maybe just hoping) that something at the end of the Civil War mindwipes everyone. It'll be Identity Crisis in reverse. Quite possibly this is how they will undo Peter Parker's marriage to Mary Jane. Or maybe that's just hoping as well.

Emily enjoys BLACK PANTHER and STORM, but after SPIDER-GIRL ends there will be zero Marvel books on my reading list.  (...with the possible exception of the upcoming IRREDEEMABLE ANT-MAN...)

Goliath, who was once Black Goliath.

This site seemed to have a good overview of the character:

Supposedly the idea was for the general public to hate and fear all of the heroes after Civil War and consider them criminals and that was supposed to harken back to how the characters were viewed in the 60's

This from an inside source I know

Sure Spidey, the Hulk and to a lesser extent the X-men might have been viewed as criminals, but the core Avengers????????
