Oh - I'm obviously out of it - the Geoff comment was me agreeing with him.
I need some sleep!

er, you're going off script there, Scott! What you said was in agreement with Jodi.
Well, Mike it looks like we might have some middle ground! They both like bacon. Now if one likes turkey and the other likes pork we're fucked.

The Saudis are our dealers, not our allies.
Back to the "they hate our fredoms" thing (I swear I heard that horse whicker just now, so clearly I'm still beating it TO death): certainly there is a cultural clash. A massive one. I just don't believe someone would fly a plane into a building because Barbara Eden showed her navel once. That's where I protest "they hate our freedoms". For that matter, we have plenty of sub-cultures right here in the USA that hate our freedoms, and I don't hear anyone (other than me) calling for Pat Robertson to be slapped into Abu Ghraib.

I did
elaborate to the extent I felt warranted. Why is it that if it's not the
answer you hoped for or you don't like or agree with an answer you resort to
personal attacks? Just curious.
I specifically asked you to elaborate on a point for the sake of clarity.(as you had called me on not including the full text of your quote) You then ignored my question. That is the opposite of an answer. So obviously my reaction (full quote below) was not because I did not like your answer, but that I did not like the fact that you ignored the question. I guess that is valid form of debate, although I don't think either one of us can learn from the others point of view that way.
Now in order to clearly answer your question... here's the full text of my quote:
Oh and by the way, nice job completely ignoring the rest of my
questions...you not wanting to elaborate on the definitions of
Terrorists or combatant or defender speaks volumes.
My answer: There was no personal attack...merely a statement that it speaks volumes that you refuse to clarify your definitions...what it says(to me) is that you can't defend your stance. That's cool. And in no way personal.
Cheers, Don

Fair enough -- if needed -- mea culpa!

Well, we'd have to be talking about one charming mother#@¢%ing pig. I
mean, he'd have to be ten times more charming than that Arnold on Green
Acres, know what I'm saying?
