I don't know if this has already been discussed here, but the new Multiversity Guidebook reveals that JB's Generations stories took place on Earth 38.

It seems like most JBFers are fairly negative toward the Multiverse concept, but I like how it attempts to incorporate as much prior continuity as possible without using it to restrict current creators. It's certainly preferable to Marvel's next campaign, in which they try to make everything uniform by deleting stuff that differs from current portrayals.

GENERATIONS is an *imaginary* story. How can it take place
on a different Earth? It's not simply an "Elseworlds." The
timeline *deliberately* contradicts itself -- as a fun
comment on how the stories themselves contradicted
themselves (e.g. Superboy, when Clark Kent met Lois Lane
and Bruce Wayne).

They have Earths that are eternally in the 1800s, so I guess one with an ever evolving contradictory timeline isn't a stretch.

I've a feeling Morrison liked Generations so thats why it's one of the Earths.
