That teaser really grabs you and makes you want to read more.

••

Big question, can it pierce the wall of superhero domination of the marketplace, AND the Big Bad Byrne mythology?

JB:  "This is the same Eddie Wallace who appeared in the closing chapters of NEXT MEN -- and this is the first real glimpse of the "new future" of the NEXT MEN timeline."

****

Sweet!  There's so many cool pockets that were introduced in NEXT MEN, and I am so glad you are exploring these areas.  You created such a rich universe from 2112 through AFTERMATH.

Very much looking forward to FINDERS OF LOST CHILDREN as well!!

Yes I just skimmed through the preview pages just to get the feel without reading the text. I can't wait but I have to. Probably for a fortnight.

This Byrne guy does know how to draw starships.

Definitely a strength, and these are wonderful additions to his fleet.
A very nice preview...  I'll be checking in on this.

Max on page 6 gives me a punk Ted Danson vibe for some reason!

This looks absolutely breathtaking. I might have to renege on my refusal to buy actual comic books and pick this up rather than wait for the trade.

I had the opposite approach - the art is strong, as always (although I have a preference for 'slicker' inks on sic-fi comics, for some reason), but the rhythm of the dialogue just knocked me out.  I want to READ the damn thing now, and it was the taste of the characterization and plot that did it, not the visuals.

The reproduction on those preview pages is pretty rough. Not at all like the line on the actual books.

I really liked the first issue. Eddie's a
likable protagonist and I love Jonesy
already. I didn't care for Jack but maybe I'm
not supposed to. I also liked that JB took
his time introducing us to a very plausible
futuristic world and let us get comfortable
with it before revealing some of the more
"fantastic" elements.

Well done. I'm looking forward to more.

This is ROCK SOLID good stuff.

Exciting dialogue that does not sound forced or hip. Characters you can instantly grow fondness too!

All of that in a few sample pages!
