Looks good from the sneak peek, and the logo works brilliantly. Very classic superhero.

Great first page!  It looks as though the hero flies in and lands in front of the armored guy- hard to tell by the small pic, but it looks as though the hero lands in the foreground- or is he a giant standing above the villain?  At this size I can't make out the visual hints of scale.

Which is precisely why I felt it was "safe" to show that page.

This TRIO talk has made me wonder whatever happened to those three "Blade Runner Types" JB doodled a few years ago...

Going back to your logo design, John...

I've experimented with it a few times myself.  Usually by hand.  I often wonder just how they manage to keep the lines smooth on the lettering like they do, as I tended to have those little "squiggles" in mine, even with the aid of a ruler.  The nearest thing I can guess is that you started with a really large original, then reduced it in size to fit the cover illustration that you were pasting it to.

Really large original helps! Of course, in Ye Olden Days it came down to letters who were really, really good at their jobs!

Love the logo, JB!  Much like the very fun Baskin Robbins BR/31 logo, now that I see the 3 in the R of TRIO, I cannot un-see it!

This will get me back in the comic book store.  I hope it turns out to be a satisfying return to the genre for you, JB.

As to the teaser page-- I'm a sucker for JB's superhero technology.  There are plenty of examples of things JB draws well, but the top of my list includes robots and sci-fi battle armor.
