Ah, what has now become my second favorite of my own drawings of the Thing.*

This issue was a lot of fun to work on.

The house the "Benjamin" family bought, by the way, was based on my own house of the time, in Evanston.

*HERE is the current first place holder -- coincidentally a scene (sorta) from the same story.

Issues 259 and 260 were the first back issues of FF I bought, based on the covers alone, after discovering the series new at #269.  This John Byrne guy was doing Alpha Flight, so this one must be good as well, right?  Oh my, these still rank as some of my favorite issues of any title ever.
