I certainly plan to, Gerry, although it's a bit pricey. I'm a huge fan of Ditko's work, plus he's such a mysterious character.

I definitely plan to pick it up at some point. I flipped through it at the LCS and saw not one picture or reference to Spider-Man. I'm sure Ditko would approve.

I'm considering it. I've read one review (Entertainment Weekly) ... very favorable.
Also thinking of getting Evanier's Kirby book, too. It's always shrink-wrapped at the bookstore, though ...

I pre-ordered it, but was nervous about the quality. I'm very picky about layout/design/content of these "artbooks" and they tend to disappoint...
The Kirby book was great. Let's hope this one wasn't created by monkeys...

I already received it, and design is professional.
Imho, the most interesting part is text (and this is enough to buy the
book), since there are just a few images that I didn't know, but you can't
wait plenty of unpublished images coming from Ditko.
In chapters focused on Spider-Man and Dr. Strange, mostly of images
come from printed comics and stats in b/w (Essentials?). This was the
most disappointing part, since I hoped at least to enjoy original art in the
same line that Evanier's book on Kirby.
Anyway, the content is really interesting and it helps you to understand
some decisions he took and the philosophy behind of it.
Recommended!
