Now here's an issue I haven't read in a while!  I do remember thinking that the panels showing Ben's fall were especially neat though.

This is an issue that I only read once and must confess to not remembering a lot of it.  I think I'll reread it tonight to get back up to speed!

now here was a tricky issue because always you must guess what is real and what is not real in it. when the spaceship ate the moon you said no way can that happen but then reed richarfds figures everything out because the torch can't fly that far! i did not understand what happened with the green aquaman but i liked the drawings. good one!

A very bizarre issue - a fun read with some good artwork.

If I recall two bits of trivia correctly:

1) This was based on an idea JB had for a "Space: 1999" comic.
2) Due to an inking error, the Human Torch is shown flying with the team on the full-page revealing the alien. It should be Black Bolt with the rest of the FF.

The cover pulled me in.  Giant eye, Sue melting away into the floor.  How could you not pick this up just to find out what the heck was going on??!!

Another great issue, one which, after the previous two issues, served to further cement me in as an FF fan.
